i was there confused by sudden question while i was thinking about

The cold eyes were staring at me .she paused for some time , and
said she had a doubt about loyalty , a need of work.i begged to
give me a chance for this job as it is almost important to me for

seriousness in this job.
she said ok but on a condition that she would test for 7 days and
then only she approved my appointment .
she ranged the phone and asked her secretary . she said your time
has started from now . the secretary came inside as a replica of
the boss ..smiling .. and had her courtesy bending down on one leg
, hands on her skirt , slightly raising the skirt . my eyes
wandered through her legs as a hungry child ,wanting to look
beyond and caught by sudden thundering voice . i followed the
voice ..it was her .. my boss... she replied this is suhas would
be joining our organisation as an assistant to the boss .she
explained to type the appointment letter and to handover to me by
evening . she whispered something to her followed by the fountain
of laughter .

well this is your test ,she said. As a loyalty test you would do
this today . Secretary has come back with a small box in her hand
and placed on the table. She said calmly in this box there are
three things that you have to put on. i wondered for a while what
it would be but said ok.
she laughed and said there is a ear-ring , a lipstick and a red
bindi and i had to put on these as a proof of my seriousness.
"Madam, please .. i cant do it" , were my words in a slightly
angry voice . and then she said laughingly "look suhas i had told
you you are not serious for working in this organisation". i was
angry by the fact that she was acting smart enough to judge me .
no my mind said no .. how could anyone do like this to me. ya .. i
do need a job but i cant wear these items. come on suhas , my mind
said you are a man . you cant do this .
i thundered " sorry , i cant do this ". she angered by the answere
and told me to get out . i was happy just a moment before and now
i had been unemployed . what i would do without job. for last
eight month i had stayed at my home. i had a debt of 2 lacs rs as
a personal loan. 6000 rs. every month emi dent my bank balance
from previous company . now i had no money for the next month emi
and for running the house. i had left the premises of the office
and returned to the home

two days has been passed without any change . my phoned has a
ring. there was a guy asking for the emi and charges of the loan .
the charges had been amounted the loan and bank was constantly
nagging about the payment. i requested him to give me sufficient
time as i had no money and no job. he blundered either keep ready
your money or keep ready your sister vidya . the reference of
vidya shattered my thought . i abused him. he laughs . he said he
knows vidya and will offer to give time if she kissed him on his
lips. basterd were the my words . i had put down the phone . i was
angry on me for being useless . i cursed the recession and the
government. i cursed the girls for being competitive and taking
our jobs. i cursed the lady who asked me to put lipstick,bindi and
earring as a proof. i cursed the girls now ever more .i cursed
myself being a boy.

vidya was there standing along with my mother . it was a strange
situation , they were smiling and here i was suffering . i asked
what's the matter. My mother broke the news , vidya got a job from
the big mnc . i was happy on my face but sad by this situation .
she the younger got a good job and here i am the elder experienced
is a jobless.i hide my pain and controlled my emotions.
i was watching the cricket match next day . Mother had gone for
shopping . the door bell ranged. it was Vidya returning from the
office. i opened the door and welcomed her. She was tired . She
sat on the chair and asked me " bhaiyaa , would you pls bring the
water and pls keep this purse in my bedroom". She was so tired .it
was her first day. i kept the purse and brought her water.
Meanwhile she had changed the tv channel and was watching a hindi
serial. i barked her to change the channel and she refused to so
so. i was getting impatient . the serial was pathetic where it had
been shown a man was massaging the female legs as she returned
from the office. the female taunts him "din bhar kya karte hon tum
ghar pe , jara ghar ka kaam karlo?.tum meri biwi ban jao , me kaam
karke tumehe khilaungi. tum khana pakana sikh lo. aur tumhe sharam

dikhonge, and she smiles. Vidya also smiles loudly. i was irrited
by this serial .. i want to see the cricket . i had snatched the
remote from her and changed the channel. She was very angry . i
had not see her so aggressive till date. and she barked " oh .. i
know why you have change the channel .. and (she smiled) ,paused
for a while and said " kya kahte ho, waise bhi idea bura nahi
hain" . i said what idea. she was now cunning , she stand before
me and placed her finger on my chin and said " tumhe laga na ki
woh scene tumhare liye hain. waise bhi tum ghar pe rahto hon..
meri dress tumhe achhchi lagegi.. ladki banlo ..aur ghar ka kaam
karo .. waise bhi agar tumhe kaam nahi mila ton tumhari shaadi to
ho sakti hain" and she picked her bindi and put on my forhead and
laughs" suhasini tum badi cute ho" . she ran away . i had thrown
her bindi in dust bin. my mother comes and the atmosphere turns
silent. this month emi and household expenses left with no money
,no money even for going on interview.

Month has passed away. i had asked vidya to make payment of emi .
she had done happily. that day morning she was going for office
and i asked her "vidya , will you give me some money please , i
had to go for a interview .She opened her purse and put out money
and said jokingly 'Suhasini , chhodo ye chakar job ka , meri mano
ghar kam sikhlo aur agar tumhe sharam aa rahi hain to dress pahan
lo meri". and she ran away. i had taken this jokingly . in the
evening she comes. i had given her water and asked for tea. she
said "wow i like this suhas you are improving " she asked about
the interview details which i replied no they said they will call
back.
it was sunday morning and i was there at the her bed waiting for
her to wake up. i asked vidya , i need some money as my friend are
going for picnic . She was silent and i was patient for her reply.
she opened the pursed and she opened the almari. She placed her
punjabi dress pink colour on the bed. The money was in her hand.
Seeing dress i asked her weather she is going outside , she said
no. I said "ok please give me money." She said ya par meri ek
shart hain? not an easy money for you . Maine kaha kya hain. She
said " Suhas , tumhe ye dress pahanani hogi mere samne tabhi tumhe
paise milenge ya fir apne dosto se maang lo.". i was shocked but i
pleaded her please. but no she said . she refused to give me
money. i was very angry and i narrated her the incident of my
office job and said if i can leave the job for this i can leave
the money.
She said then " you are stupid ,Suhas, agar tum ne uski baat man
li hoti to tumhe job milati thi magar nahi tumhara ego bahut
hain.. usne to kuchh bhi nahi tha . sirf lipstick , earring ,
bindi hi pahani thi. pagal. tum kabhi sudharo ge nahi. "
she paused for some time and i was standing there thinking she had
a point . if i had done that what would have happened ? nothing it
will not have taken my masculinity. i would have been male only....
i was about to make statement that "vidya you r right" but she
thundered " you stupid fellow, dress to tumhe pahanani padegi ,
office ho ya ghar , aab tumhe ye paise nahi milenge. mein tumhe
ladki bana ke tumhara ego thik karungi. aab kya bolte ho suhasini
, tum ladki banoge ya tumhe paise nahi chhahiye ?" .

i was very angry by her comments , my male ego was hurting and i
said with loud vocie " i dont need your money and i dont need you
and and i dont need this your dress and i dont need friends ..the
picnic ,".it's followd by the loud sound of door closing. and it
turns silent as it has become loud. My heart was pumping heavily .
any one can hear the sound of it beating loud like drum .its been
so pathetic for me now . All emotions were running through heads
making it heavy .my eyes were sore red as it is filled with
emotions. the dam was full and it would have overflown at any
time.its started by pouring a little drops which were passing
through my red chciks and here she came again . she had dressed
herself in pink punjabi dress. she was looking beautiful .
She came and smiled and said "oh brother !!!!!!1 you have felt
very bad , i was just joking , here is the money , pls take it and
go for a picnic'"( oh bhai tum to bura man gaye ..main to majak
kar rahi thi , ye lo paise aur maja karo"). i had stopped my
crying so that she shouldnot sense it . if she would have known
she would have tease me more , thinking how pathetic her brother
is . moreever the money has played important role in this .here
she was now more generous and offered me more money than required
by saying take it so that you would not require to ask again and
again. i was very happy now but i didnot smile back . i wanted to
make her felt guilty . but she was the cunning vixen of our house
. After some minutes she said ' oh bhai , ma to abh uthi nahi hain
, pls mere liye chai to bana lo aur pahle mere liye pani lekar aao
bahut pyas lag rahi hain ' ( mother has not yet woken up, pls make
tea for us and pls bring some water as i felt thirsty . ) . the
wicked Girl!!! she was so strange . She knows how to turn the
tables . what could i do at this situation . i was helpless. i
have to listen to her as she had given me money. i went to the
kitchen and started making up the tea. i put the glass of water in
a tray and take to her. she had beeen sitting in the hall reading
the newspaper . She did neither give me a glance nor acknowledged
my effort for bringing her water. i went to the kitchen for tea.
The same thing happen with the tea. i had wondered if i had not
taken the money , i would not have tolerated this behaviour. i had
again trapped in her move. i now know she might had feeling
earlier of loosing battle" as she would not have exercise her
authority over me as i had become angry . but she really had
turned the table by her sweet guesture and now here i am at her
service now .my thoughts predominates me now . i had lost by her
move. what next ........?.......

"Bhaiyya please ye saab uthalo " she had pointed the glass of
water and tea cup which she had put on the ground. i had wake up
through my thoughts and followed her order mechanically. She had
put the cup near her leg on the floor on purpose. Now i had to
bent down to pick it up.She was not even looking at me and quite
intrested in reading only. As i had just bent to pick it , my
hands touched her beautiful legs painted with red nail paint with
small string of silver payal attached to it , she brust in a
laughter saying " Dudho nahao puto falo" ( have blessing of number
of children).this comment was making me angry and she replied back
" dont blush like girl, its showing on your cheeks ", "when i said

blushing like a girl , Suhasini, go and put this thing
away"?(ladki ki tarah mat sharma , maine kaha tha ki ye dress
pahan le to tumhe bura laga tha ,Suhasini, ja ab rakh ke a ye
sab?). Mother had woke up by now and the atmosphere has turned a
silent and vidya said " bhiyaa tum rahne do , main leke jati hun
sab kitchen mein , mein hi usko dhoke saaf rakh dungi , tum mat ye
kam mat karna ladkiwale!!! , tum thodi hi ladki ho ? hai na
?..(please brother let me put this glass of water and cup of tea
in the kitchen. i will wash it and kept it clean , why would you
do the house work like a girl ? .. definately you are not a
girl?... Am i right no..? ) and she stressed more on the ladkiwale
and ladki (girly ) words. Oh what a sudden turnover . from where
this saint come from you devil . As i turned up i saw mother was
listening to the conversation . Oh that was the reason she has
changed suddenly . As She try to take it away from my hand
forcedfully my mother said " Rahne de tu Vidya , Suhas hi leke
jayega use.. aur bete ise paani se dho bhi dena .. dekh bichari
bahut kaam karti hain office mein or ghar me bhi .. tum thoda uska
kaam baant lena , uska kaam halka ho jayega. " ( "Vidya you
stopped , let suhas take it to the kitchen and wash it and suhas
pls help her in some house work as she works very hard in the
office and as well as in the home , if you spare her work it will
be much better." ). i said ok , i will do it . but vidya was vidya
, she had put a bomb on me by saying but mother its a girl work .
how can he do it ? . he is not a girl at all and lacks the
experience of it and moeever if some body see it what will the
world thinks . ( ma ye to ladkiyo ka kaam hain aur bhaiyaa to
ladki nahi hain or unhe ye sab aata nahi aur koi dekh lega to woh
kye kahega?).

Now this was going agianst me. i had been get traped with no way
out. My mother said "there is nothing like girl work and boys work
, see now a days you are earnig where as you have to sit at home
and do house work , the same as he will do some house work its a
really not a big issue. ". ( abhi kaha ladka , ladki ka kaam rah
gaya hain , agar aisa hota to tum bahar jake nahi kamati, ab tum
ladki hoke sab karti hoon to isme kuchh burai nahi hain.). i was
speech less now. i cant go against the agrument . i had do the
dishwork and kept it i the kitchen and i had turned up to read the
paper . Now if the vidya is silent then she is not vidya . her
devil mind had already played the trump card . she barked out "
But mother , Suhas will not feel well for this work one should
supervise and teach him for doing the house work , and it will be
embrassing for him if any guest or friend finds him working in a
home. In the morning , only i joked him about putting my dress and
he was angry like a hell . (lekin maaa... use koi sikhana chhahiye
ye sab.. aur koi use pakd le ye sab karte huye to.., aur miane
subah aise hi kaha tha ki meri dress pahan le to bhaiyaa itne

my mother was calm and i had also try to remain calm. mother
replied back " when you are small and even now he teaches you with
your education where he is better than you and now you teached him
the house work. now Suhas do some little house work, not so big
.just to share vidya,s responsibility that will not make you girl
and she laughs away.
oops !!!!!!!!!!!!! the situation had become crazy. But there was
another tease coming up " but mother , his wife will be happy as
she will get trained husband otherwise you have to look for
husband for him " my mother had joined the laughter and seeing me
getting angry 'she said now a days wife likes the husband which do
house work ." . ( par maa iski biwi to raaj karegi , accha pati jo

After Some time mother had warned vidya it is enough to tease me .
i was happy now as she is not suggesting the girl work for me. But
while going away she added she would not mind the little work from
me as a help to vidya . By hearing this vidya got delighted and
she raised her one eye and said in a small voice 'bol aab tumhe
kon bachayega , tumhe to ladki ke kapde pahnake dance karaungi woh
bhi " mere hatho mein nau nau chudiya re " aur na sirf ghagara aur
choli mein lekin tere haath me chudiyan bhi pahnaungi , dekh

hain") and she laughs .

as per advice cutting down the story .note : all the teasing has
removed ... which i had a waxing scene. mother had been sent for a
village for 7 days.it was
a do or die situation for suhas now which also been reomved...
vidya has forced me into the room . my fate has been decided . i
try to reconsile her "vidya pls pls for the god sake please...
please dont do this to me .
She forced me and shouted "go inside otherwise ...". i was
helplesss . With heavy mind ......with big reluctance i had
stepped inside the room.
Seeing the content on the bed i had withdrawn myself out of the
room and told her "please vidya no ... i beg you vidya please
no... i am elder to you , i had
been very sweet to you though rather it was not so sweet all time
but it was benefit for you . please listen to me dont make me to
do this".she had prepared
everything , there was a beautiful red saree , seiveless bluse red
in colour , all the ornamnets as the preparation done for a bride
. but the hell i am not
a bride .. i am not a girl at all.
She pushed me inside the room and closed down the door . the voice
of shutting down the door had sealed my fate. all my efforts were
in vain. what was
happening? . it was like a doom day. it was the end of day for me

i looke at the preparation again. i was standing with my eyes all
down . i was not ....no i would not do this . i had to do something ..
but i could not ...... my survival depends on this. i steppd up

and put my hand in centre to avoid the shame . she laughed to see
my predicament and then
told me " see you are hopeless .. last 5 minutes back i teached

I asked her how she had convinced her . She said she offered her
